Check the working conditions of cooling fan at low temperature (less than 83) :

1. Place the ignition switch ON the ON position.

2. Check and confirm that the cooling fan is stopped. If not stopped, check the cooling fan relay and the engine coolant temperature sensor to check if there is a break between the two.

3. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

4. Check and confirm the cooling fan rotation. If it is not turned, check whether the fuse, cooling fan relay, ECM and cooling fan check whether there is a short circuit between the cooling fan and the engine coolant temperature sensor.

5. Reconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.


Check the working conditions of cooling fan at high temperature (above 93) :

1. Start the engine and increase the coolant temperature to above 93.

2. Check and confirm the cooling fan rotation. If not, replace the engine coolant temperature sensor.

How to remove the radiator fan?

1. Remove the engine lower baffle.

2. Remove the auxiliary water tank.

3. Remove the coolant tube fixed on the radiator fan cover from the fixed card.

4. Remove the wire harness on the fan shield.

5. Disconnect the plug 1 and turn out the fastening screws (arrows) of the fan shroud.

6. Remove the radiator fan cover with the fan.

7. Screw out the fixed nut of the fan and remove the radiator fan.


Troubleshooting of car radiator fans.

Failure 1. The car is not rotating during the exercise.

Reason: 1. The engine water temperature does not reach the cooling fan starting condition, the temperature is low. 2; The cooling fan can be tested with an engine diagnostic instrument. If the cooling fan can rotate normally, the line is normal and the thermostat is checked.

Fault 2. The car cooling fan does not turn on the air conditioner and does not refrigerate.

Reason: first check the electronic fan temperature control switch, the switch can check the failure of the electronic fan itself, and the electronic fan can heat the air conditioner evaporator to cool the air conditioning system.

Fault 3. The car engine cooling fan does not turn.

Reason: the high temperature of the engine is mainly due to the failure of the electronic fan, and the water temperature will be normal after the failure of the electronic fan. Electronic fan doesn't work first check the plug is bad contact, check the power supply and take iron condition of electronic fan, check whether the fan is binding, check whether the fan motor is burning, etc., these factors will lead to the electronic fan can't start, suggest vehicles in a timely manner to the 4 s shop repair, after the troubleshooting on the road.

Fault 4. The air conditioning cooling fan has a loud voice.

Reason: check whether the fan has a grinding case, check whether the fan page is deformed, and whether the bearing is damaged or not.

Failure 5. The cooling fan starts frequently after flameout.

Reason: to cool the engine.

The cooling system also stops after the normal car is extinguished, which often causes the engine to turn off and the temperature increases, causing damage. So now the high-grade car set up automatic cooling function, the power of the radiator is directly to the battery, remove from the engine temperature is still high, so the cooling fan is still working for a period of time, after waiting for temperature cooling stalling again, in order to avoid high temperature cause car spontaneous combustion.
